Concerts and Festivals

A concert plays out in a few seconds: a glance, a gesture, a beam of light cutting through the smoke. For more than fifteen years I have been photographing the music scene, from rock to metal, from major European festivals to more intimate venues, from Rammstein to Iron Maiden, from Deep Purple to Hugues Aufray.

This experience has taught me to read stage light, to anticipate the decisive moments and to stay discreet so as never to disturb the artist or the audience. Each image conveys the intensity, the emotion and the atmosphere of the evening.
